Question – On the Vastness of Being

Q: How Vast Am I?

This question is a potent one, in that it opens us up – truly expansively.

The fact that it starts with “how vast”, powerfully implies that one actually is vast, despite our common experience as incarnate human beings. So the first part of this question automatically draws our awareness far from our mundane consciousness, and into a space much more in harmony with our true nature.
This in itself has great value.

But then the complete question directs our awareness to our deeper sense of self – of “I”. And as we have now been primed with focusing on vastness, this question very rapidly lifts our awareness right into our Expansive True Self!

To seek an answer to this question, one has to “deeply inquire” – you simply cannot answer this intellectually. So we ask, then we stretch our awareness out within; we then ask again, and stretch out within again… we must keep seeking an outer edge to our vastness, in order to answer – we have to know.

Due to the potency and deepening nature of this simple question, I suggest you gift yourself more than one session with it – in fact several meditations would be good.

The nature of vastness you first encounter, will not be the only quality of vastness available to you.
So, over time, as this question awakens new expanses of openness within you, it will lead you to aspects of awareness you have never even dreamed of before!
Therefore in order to perceive the true extent of your vastness, you will most likely need to cultivate new receptors or pathways within your mind. And likely they will need creating from scratch, as this is not a question many have dwelt in before!

Like all true power questions, this question is expansive in nature, through directing you inwards rather than outwards. It is a question that liberates.

And… this question, like all good questions, is one to sit with. It guides your consciousness into a space of direct experience. It is not intended to be answered intellectually. Keep asking it. Keep seeking that which it focuses your awareness into. Enjoy.
