Mantra – To Serve as Light

This Mantra is one I wrote in 2017. I find it a great way to reset a clear intention for how I wish to be and show up in daily life. I use it whenever I need to remember who I am – in the morning, lunch, afternoon, evening, and sometimes even right before bed.

The more I use it, the more I feel centred in the Self I want to be in the world.

This mantra has 5 stanzas. Each one has a particular collection of intentions.
Firstly it starts with a general focus of “service focus” as a way of life. It then speaks to being fully and immovably aligned to the Light, and this being the nature of the service one intends to offer. Then it brings the focus to Love, and the intention of essentially the making of Heaven of Earth. Then it concludes with a commitment for All of one’s life being focused in this way.

Individual Version

I seek to thrive
I seek to give
I seek to serve
This is how I live.

I seek to stand
Unwavering in the Light.
I seek to stand
Immovable and bright.

A Beacon Light
To guide The Way
I commit to serve
As Light, This Day!

I commit to serve
As Radiant Love.
I commit to make
Below as Above.

I stand now steadfast
My All I give
Immovable in the Light
This is how I live!

Group Version

We seek to thrive
We seek to give
We seek to serve
This is how we live.

We seek to stand
Unwavering in the Light.
We seek to stand
Immovable and bright.

A Beacon Light
To guide The Way
We commit to serve
As Light, This Day!

We commit to serve
As Radiant Love.
We commit to make
Below as Above.

We stand now steadfast
Our All we give
Immovable in the Light
This is how we live!

Note: Obviously, if you are using this with a group of people, it is important you all have the same understanding of all of the concepts that are referenced. You can also use the group version “on behalf of” a group of people – in which case it is used as service to others, and relies only on your personal knowledge, understandings, and inner connections.
