On The Power of Words and Conscious Greetings

Exploring the Importance of Speaking Authentically and Consciously in the Present

We know that creative energies follow our focus, especially when focalised through our words, as words carry the Divine Energy of Creation. Therefore it is most wise to use them with consciousness!

How do we use the power of our words to consciously create the life and self we wish to be, without sacrificing authenticity?! For if one says “I am great”, when clearly and obviously it is not currently true… the person appears fake and inauthentic. But if they are feeling terrible, and simply say so, are they not just further reinforcing this experience?

How do we create a new experience when we are not great? How do we speak authentically in the now, without empowering a reality we seek to change? We need to change the nature of the questions we ask and answer. We need to keep our focus in the right place in time, and use fuller, more complete replies. For example: “I am experiencing fatigue, but my current focus is on vibrant wellbeing.” This acknowledges what is present, and affirms the new focus!

To further explore these ideas, let’s look at some of our common, frequently repeated, words and interactions.

Conscious Greetings

Our everyday greeting is actually a Question – and like all Questions, it has power. In this case, the result is to shift the focus of the Conscious Creator into the realm of Effects, rather than empowering them in their Creation.

“How are you?”
This question is focused on the so-called present moment, but for the Conscious Creator this is already the Past; because the question is aimed at what you are presently experiencing – the Effects of your previous Causes.

You think you are asking: “What is your current condition?” But really you are asking: “What are the Effects you are experiencing?” Therefore you are compelling the Conscious Creator to shift their focus from their True Now into their Past – from Causal Focus to the realm of Effects.

“How are you?” can be a useful question if a person is running an avoidance strategy – if they are in resistance to experiencing what they have created – for this is perpetuating an unhelpful condition. This focus can bring their attention into acknowledging what they have created to experience – in order to clear and free themselves from the resistance.

But once we have embodied a habit of nonjudgement, and are therefore consciously experiencing our experiences, rather than judging and resisting them; then we can build on this, through a more conscious form of greeting.

The difference between “How” and “Where”

“How” you are is a question about your static condition, it is about what you have previously created and how you are weathering it. And while interesting, it is not as useful as asking “Where” someone is focused, as this focus will determine what they are next creating to experience! Instead of asking how someone likes what they have created for themselves, we can ask in such a way as to remind and support them, to be fully conscious in their creation of life experiences.

Let’s Be Conscious Together

If we start with the presumption that all of our Path Kin are consciously taking responsibility for their created effects, and are therefore attentively experiencing what they have created, then instead of asking “How are you?”, we could greet them within the Future State or True Now in which we are both striving to dwell. We can instead ask of their Future-To-Now focus, with questions like:

Where are you focused?
What virtue are you embodying today?
What are you currently affirming?
What energies are you cultivating?
What thoughts are you frequently entertaining?
Are you present and responsive, or caught in reaction?
What are you currently focused on mastering within yourself?
What are you currently creating?

Or if you’re a little bolder, and possibly eccentric…
What spell of self-creation are you currently weaving?

Questions of this nature are deeper and more meaningful, as they shift our focus from past Effects to present creative Causalities, and into alignment with each other’s more conscious selves. They also encourage greater authenticity as they require at least a sentence to reply, rather than a few toss away words.

By shifting the focus of our questions, we can use our interactions to support each other to be the selves of our conscious choosing. The more conscious we are, or the more time we spend in shared clear consciousness, the greater our chances of mastering our Personality Vehicles, and eventually becoming Soul Fused.

Conscious True Now Presence is Not Avoidance!

I am in no way saying we should avoid directly experiencing the results of our past causalities. It is imperative, if we do not want to create denial and therefore dishonour ourselves as creators – doing so would truly degrade our power to consciously create.

We must embrace the fullness of the process, in a way that does not cause our limiting creations to be sustained. Yes, we must consciously experience what we have created to experience. Resistance and avoidance perpetuates the creation while it awaits our conscious attention – effectively stagnating us on The Path, and in life!

If a friend has a habit of expressing false happiness or inauthenticity, through continuously resisting and avoiding what they have created – if they are focused in the future to escape their previous creations – then you might follow the first question or two with something like this: “Is there anything present that you don’t want to see?” Or “What do you need to directly experience?”

Living Authentically

Through focusing together in the True Now, and by holding our attention in our Causal Creations, we can bring a greater level of conscious engagement, authentic expression, and mutual support into our lives on The Path. We can also greet, ask questions, and speak words that are aligned to our focus as a Conscious Creator, rather than dwelling in the past or avoiding our creations with future-based escapism!

Let us use our words with truly conscious intent.
Let us greet and ask questions in ways that support our conscious growth.
Let us be authentic in our expressions, without getting stuck in our pasts and sacrificing our creative power!
Let us all engage with other more deeply, through truly meaningful interactions.

Authentically Present…
