Gem – On Balancing Inner and Outer Foci

How do we achieve well physically, without sacrificing Higher Awareness?

Questions:
How do we give our all in life, with genuine focus, without losing our spiritual awareness?
How do we achieve and maintain deep spiritual awareness, without becoming dysfunctional in daily life?
How do we achieve both foci simultaneously?

There is only so much a person can do in life. I mean we have a limit to our available time.
On top of chores for daily living, social interaction, growing a garden, having a partner and or family, work, exercise and hobbies; we have our growing spiritual awareness, and the needs for study, service, meditation and energy work. How do we fit it all in, and achieve well!?

People say we need a one-pointed focus if we want to truly succeed at something, to really narrow the focus and give it everything we have. This certainly seems true evidentially.

Is the Upright Cross a Hint?

Perhaps we need a one-pointed focus in the horizontal, but also a one-pointed focus vertically, and we exist and work from the point of tensioned power where they intersect?
Next, we should consider the nature of this space…
Is this intersectional point one of utter stillness, like the eye of a cyclone, or tumultuous?
Is this eye the Void of the Heart Centre, or does it lie elsewhere within us?

The simple answer lies in the paradoxical yet Dynamic Nature of the Heart Chakra – simultaneously still and active! The Jewel in the centre is the Stillness, and the Petals are its activity.
From its centre, the Heart manifests as Love in Action – which we give freely in service to all – receiving as much, or more than we appear to give out. It is in Wise Giving that this 2-way flow comes to find balance. If we strive to Dwell in the Heart, we can embody the stillness that creates dynamically. And thus hold ourselves in perfect balance within the tension point of horizontal and vertical awareness.
