The Effect Reflects the Cause
If our emotional causes are very strong, then the resulting effects will be equally strong – both in their impacts upon our physical bodies and our minds. The primary problems with strong uncontrolled emotions are the impacts of the disturbed or agitated energies and any resultant energetic damage. The nature of the Cause indicates the nature of the Effect and the needed conscious response.
When we make a big beautiful and healthy meal, we get to enjoy the sensory stimulation in the moments of eating it and then the nutrition it slowly provides our body. After we have eaten, we then have to clean up the kitchen and bring it back to a clear, clean, and harmonious state.
If the meal was truly healthy, our body will absorb all the goodness and thrive, but if the meal was poorly put together or was full of ingredients not suited to the human constitution, we will then need to take actions to remedy the damage and ensuing sickness it leads to. The same is true at the Emotional and Mental levels. In this Gem Post I shall focus my commentary on the emotions.
Beware Strong Loud Emotions
Due to how people celebrate and encourage “feelings,” many do not realise the great harm that uncontrolled expression of our feelings can create within us. Even if indulging and expressing negative emotions is shunned, rarely do people appear to realise that strong emotions at either end of the dipole are damaging, even positive emotions such as excitement or exuberant happiness cause us harm.
All emotions, before they are lifted and transmuted within the fires of the Heart, are appropriately considered energy in motion, and it is the nature and impacts of this movement that are often overlooked or outright misinterpreted. The emotions are essentially reactions to our thoughts, both conscious and subconscious, and disturbed or highly active thoughts and emotions blot out or destroy the stillness within the Heart – the stillness that is essential to hear the Still Quiet Voice of the Soul. Therefore, strong loud emotions come at the cost of our Soular Consciousness.
We Must Always Clean Up
It is a part of our human nature to experience laughter and there is nothing inherently wrong with this – a good laugh is good for the physical, emotional, and psychological health of a human unit. However, like all things in life, there is a spectrum of causes from which laughter is driven, and a spectrum of responses and reactions. The causes can start from the lower levels of laughing at the expense of others, right up to being delighted with joy or amused by some divine cosmic paradox – and all of these causes manifest as a spectrum of laughing reactions: as a simple joyous chuckle at the higher-vibrational end of the spectrum, right down to outright tear-streaming, face-aching cackles at the lower-vibrational end. The reactive effects of each end of the spectrum require a different follow-up.
When we enjoy some raucous laughter with friends, we must clean up and rebalance our space and ourselves, emotionally and energetically afterwards – this is essential.
Strong emotions damage our energetic constitution, which is why all true spiritual paths teach the importance of emotional control – wise balanced expression in favour of suppression or over-expression.
Strong emotional outbursts, whether excited happiness or angry aggressiveness for example, release built-up or pent-up energies, but also damage the energetic integrity of our auric field and the nadi and chakra system as they blast out of us. We see a general weakening with tears and ruptures within and around us as well as haemorrhaging energies – all of which need repair and healing. Then our full energetic field needs to be stilled back to balance and quiescence.
In the space where we shared the strong emotions there will be astral detritus everywhere, for when we express with force, we essentially rupture, explosively projecting emotional-astral substance all over the place, and this needs cleaning up. The space, like the messy kitchen, needs to be brought back to still, clean, harmonious balance.
The Consequences of Not Cleaning Up
If we do not clean up after ourselves, three unfortunate situations can follow:
- We become weakened and vulnerable to sickness, and also, victimisation by others.
- The substance we leave laying around can negatively impact or affect others, empowering their emotional nature and poor, lower-vibrational habits, the consequences of which then becomes our Karma.
- Dark Beings can collect our substance and fashion it into weapons that will pass straight through our protections – as such creations vibrate in harmonic alignment with us – afterall, they were built from us! The DB can also add malefic vibrations to our collected substance and simply return it to us, effectively poisoning us. This poisoned substance then works like a key, opening us to direct manipulation.
There are similar problems when we energise and expel mental energy and thoughtforms, and these problems can create even greater poor Karma for a person. Thought is creative, thought has true power compared to the malleable emotional-astral substance, and hence, our thoughts carry more force for good or ill. This is why, once we arrive at the occult or esoteric science stage of the path, more emphasis is laid upon mastering our minds – the greater energies, we can and do access, give our thoughts longer duration or existence within the lower mental plane, and therefore, more chance of them impacting others – positively or negatively, benevolently or harmfully, depending upon the nature of the thoughts.
As should now be abundantly clear, the path is ever about gaining control and then mastery of our vehicle of incarnation. It is about bringing this vessel to a state of equipoise and true balance. It is also about gaining the ability to consciously choose what impacts we will have on the lives and environment around us – preferencing benevolent Heart-Based Outcomes for all, over malefic negative ones.
To the Joy of True Balance – embodied.
