Enlightenment lies beyond our Identity
When the Crown Centre is completely awakened, and our consciousness becomes fully anchored therein, we experience what has been called Enlightenment.
On the Path to Enlightenment there are many lessons that must be learned, trials that must be passed, and possibly the most difficult task of all – many layers of identity we must liberate ourselves from.
Identity can be useful in the physical world, and in fact is not a serious issue, as long as we do not invest in, or form attachment to it. If we do, we limit our consciousness to the confines of that identity, and we inevitably cause ourselves and others unnecessary suffering. Why? Because every identity is formed by the exclusion of what it is not. Therefore, identity is built on the Principle of Separation and Exclusivity.
The most common and limited identification we form is that of our current Incarnate Personality.
In contrast to this, Enlightened Consciousness is unfurled through greater and greater identification with the Higher Self, Soul or Spirit, and in time, All That Is. It is the path of Ultimate Inclusivity. However, to expand into these higher states, we must first release the layers of identity keeping our consciousness trapped – we must liberate ourselves from identification with and as all aspects of our Personality Self!
You are not your Body!
Unless you are an Atheist, who believes you die when your body dies; chances are, you believe that you are a spiritual being, temporarily dwelling in this dense fleshy form. Therefore, no matter the Religion, Faith or Principles you follow, you believe you will live on in some state or other, long after your body passes back into the earth.
Unless you are a member of one of the fundamentalist versions of some of the world’s Religions or are one of those who interpret their sacred texts in the most exoteric or limited of ways; chances are, you also believe the Soul or Spirit that you truly are, reincarnates hundreds or thousands of times on its journey from base nature to embodied enlightened nature.
Hence, you are not your body.
You are not your Sex!
You are also not your Gender Identity.
The biological sex of your body, and the gender you identify as, are bound to your current and temporary vehicle of expression. They are therefore limited in their scope, as they actively block all experiences stored within your Soul from your past lives as other sexes and genders. Hence identifying with and as the sex or gender of your current vehicle is a severe limitation.
You are not a woman. You are not a man. You are not male, not female, not intersex – All of these are monikers of your temporary flesh suit. None are who you are!
When you say, “I am a Woman” or “I am a Man”, this becomes a mantra that confines and limits the indwelling Soul that you truly are!
The Soul has No Sex nor Gender – these are purely physical level attributes.
So I ask you… Do you live life bound and limited within the densest part of yourself?
If this is the case, True Awakening and Enlightenment will not be possible!
By extension…
You are not your Sexual Orientation!
Sexual orientation defines whether we are same, opposite, or other sex attracted – these are all directly connected to our current dense body. Sexual attraction has nothing to do with the Personality of another, let alone their Soul. When we look for a partner, we seek a compatible being who is currently incarnate within the sex or sexes we find ourselves attracted to in this life.
As most people (I believe) identify as their bodies, at least in practice, it makes of the earth “a circus of limited humans grasping and groping at one another” LOL. We are not our sexual orientations – therefore, a greater degree of nonattachment or non-identification would open the doors to greater consciousness – and so much faster!
You are not your Race!
This too is a purely physical attribute, and one that changes from life to life – as the Soul will choose to incarnate into any race or nation as suits its karma and intentions for that lifetime.
In truth there is only one race, the Human Race.
What we call “race” is really the product of the contained biological traits of a nation through time – a geographical or national type.
Each nation and body character offers a Soul different opportunities and different challenges. All have value, but our time in any race is temporary. Therefore, we limit ourselves when we identify as our racial type.
You are not your Emotions or Mind!
The Soul also chooses the qualities of, and creates, both a new Astral and Mental Body each time it reincarnates – these too are impermanent and limited to a single lifetime.
This means, by extension, that all perceptions and abilities anchored within the Astral Plane and Concrete levels of the Mental Plane are also not the Path to Enlightenment. All “psychic” phenomena and abilities are products of these Planes and if we identify with them, get attached to them, or ignorantly mistake them for the high-vibratory perceptions from the Planes of the Abstract Mind or above, we again limit ourselves to the confines of this Personality and bar the way to the consciousness of our Soul and Enlightenment.
This particular subject is too complex and vast to cover here, as we would need to dive deeply to do it any justice.
Q: Are your Layers of Identity Blocking Your Enlightenment?
When you label yourself as any of your Personality level identities, you limit yourself, and this is your right of choice, a product of your Freewill. However, when you label others with limited identities, you use your Freewill to project limits onto them!
How can we ever achieve Limitless Consciousness and the amazing culture that will grow from this, when we all choose and enforce identities of limitation?!

Whereas Answers alone define and close our awareness, Questions open the way to new possibilities.
So, here are a few questions that open the way to your Higher Consciousness, beyond the transitory Personality. Do not try and answer these with your mind! Instead, your task is to deeply investigate, to open to Direct Experience of where the question points.

- How vast am I?
- With the intention of genuine connection… What lies at the Heart of my Soul?
