Ten Principles About Agreements
◆ As agreements create inner structures and close doors to other possibilities, do not make them if you do not intend to keep them.
◆ To say, “I will do __________,” sets certain devas into motion and starts a process of creation. If that is not completed, you will then have energy perpetually locked away in a part-completed project – your resources are then diminished, you are diminished. And you are now surrounded by or engulfed within a cloud of half-formed, devitalised, decaying thoughtforms, your mental body and mental aura now become like a diseased physical body.
◆ Do not breach agreements you make with others, but especially, do not breach those you make with and within yourself.
◆ To breach an agreement is to lose integrity, to lose containment, and to lose energy.
◆ Losing containment in alchemy destroys the work – destroys your creation.
◆ If you consider your incarnate Personality as the container, then containment is held through you honouring your intentions, words, agreements, and actions – you lose containment through corrupting or breeching these. Repeatedly losing containment creates energetic and psychological weakness, and develops a pattern that makes you unreliable, and therefore destroys trust – both internal and external.
◆ If you do not hold yourself accountable to your word, to your intent, and to your agreements, how can you possibly expect others to hold themselves to theirs in regard to you? As is said, we must have love for self, to offer love to others; the same is true of respect and accountability. If you do not have respect and accountability, nor hold yourself to them, you therefore set yourself up for a life of disappointing and disappointment.
◆ If you are saying or intending one thing, but then do another, it means three things:
- That you have conflicting values, beliefs, or intentions.
- That you lack conviction – you do not have sufficient potency to hold your alchemical vessel true.
- That you are leaking energies out everywhere – you lack integrity or integrated wholeness, and you lack honour and respect.
◆ If you are uncertain or lacking in conviction in regards an action or agreement, it is better to say No. To be clear to yourself on where you stand in relation to it. And then follow this with being clear to those around you. Every choice has consequences, every cause creates an effect, therefore, you need to be prepared to accept whatever effects come from your choices! This is true whether you are choosing consciously, or if you are stumbling about mostly unconscious of your choices. The consequences of action and inaction always come home to roost. If you have energetic and psychological integrity, this will be fine for you. If you do not, chances are, you will not enjoy your effects when they arrive.
◆ If an agreement is no longer working for you, it is best to consciously make a new one.
If the agreement is within yourself, be sure all parts of you are in alignment. If it is an agreement with other people, then it is wise to include them in the discussion and new decision-making process. It is your right to not include them, of course, this is a choice you can make. But then, you must be prepared for the other parties to follow this with choices for themselves – and you may or may not like their choices and the consequences that follow. If you are free to choose whatever you want, so too is everyone else. If you choose selfishly, the people around you are just as free to choose to have nothing more to do with you! So, be wise in the way you choose change.
Be Clear and Take Action
Remember, just as it is better to under-promise and over-deliver, it is better to say No, to not offer or say you’ll do something if you are the least bit unsure you can or will do that thing! Then, if after some conscious reflection time, you do feel like doing the thing, make a firm offer, and commit yourself to it fully.
In Alchemy, there is no trying, only doing or not doing. The Alchemist commits themself completely to their chosen action. You may be unclear if your skills will be sufficient or the results will achieve what you’re hoping for, but that is an assessment of the result, after all the necessary actions. This reflective assessment leads to wisdom and better choices in the future. Choose to do or choose not to do, do not fence sit. To do so leaches energy and depletes you, and from this state, you can only ever create half-formed, unknown results.
Containment is Essential
Be mindful of your language, because words have power, are power. Watch and then correct until you master your words, and of course, therefore, your thoughts, as these precede all words. As established, do not say you will do or not do something, unless you are certain. If unsure, be clear to yourself and others that this is the case, so there are no false or empty promises.
This may all seem a bit confronting to you, because what we are talking about is Radical Authenticity – a rare quality within humanity. If you want to be the best human unit you can be, you need to have access to and be drawing from the best of you, in order to master the rest of you. This requires authenticity, or more accurately, utter authenticity.
Wherever a being loses containment, that area is weakened. Wherever there is weakness, unless healed and re-strengthened, eventually sickness will follow. When sickness dwells within a being, they have not the energetic fortitude to handle energy from their Higher Self, as these energies would just exacerbate and increase the sickness!
Hence, these questions:
- If we lose containment, and therefore lack full integrity, how can this low-vibrational vessel possibly contain our high-vibrational self? Of course, it cannot!
- If we keep slipping into unconscious patterns, how can our fully conscious self possibly inhabit such a dense uncontrolled form? Of course, it cannot!
- If we think we are living a spiritual life but continue to make choices that lack integrity, or that are not heart based or fully aligned to the vibration of Love-Wisdom; how is it possible within this condition of contradiction to be connected to, let alone an embodiment of, our Higher Selves? Of course, it is Not Possible! Connection is only possible with aligned harmonic vibration.
Tools For Transformation
The following process will help you to clean up your mental field, fortify your containment, and liberate your creative energies.
Make some quiet time, where and when you will not be disturbed. Put your phone on silent, or even better, on flight mode. Make a nice cup of tea or Chai and put on some calming serene music – without lyrics. Perhaps, light some incense or activate your oil vaporiser. Really set the space for sacredness and quietude.
Mentally collate and write down any and all agreements you have made with yourself.
Assess whether the “you” of today still needs to, or feels aligned with, honouring these agreements.
If yes, take action to get them done.
If no, have honest inner discussions with all involved parts of yourself. Then dissolve or change the agreement – with as much honesty, consideration, compassion, and lovingkindness as possible. Perhaps the space created will reveal the need for some new and different agreements.
Next, do the same process with any and all agreements you have with others. Only this time, after you have collated and assessed this list, have honest discussions with all involved people or parties. Make mutually agreed upon changes or dissolutions as desired or required.
Next, we are going to consider agreements with the Devas of Creation.
Collate and write up a list of any half-finished projects and choose to consciously reassess them. Decide if they are still something you want to complete, and if so, make a definite plan to finish them – take action.
If they are no longer of interest to you, choose to dispose of them – in a responsible and conscious manner.
If they contain materials that someone else could use, be sure to make that happen – do not just dump everything in landfill!
You also need to honour and respect the devas that already embody your half-finished creation. Tell them why you no longer intend to finish, thank them for embodying the creation up until that point, and then release them from your visioned creation – so they are free to become something new.
See your visualisation, your imagined creation, and mentally and visually burn it up – fire transforms, destroys, and frees the devas. Do this to honour the devas, but as importantly, to honour yourself as a conscious, respectful chooser and creator!
And finally, set the intention to be More Conscious of the Agreements you make, with yourself, with others, and with the Devas of Creation. Intend to be more considered when contemplating, initiating, or creating anything – be mindful of your energies, and the causes and forces you set in motion.
